Many "About Me" bios read like personal journal entries that have very little to do with the real estate business. Do you really care if your agent owns 2 cats, loves rock climbing and donates his or her time protecting seal pups? - none of which I own or do.

This can be a very ego centric business with heavy emphasis on academic credentials and personal sales achievement driven by the ambition to be "Number 1". Spending thousands on self-promotion advertising can be mistaken for competence and service excellence. The sad fact is the average Joe is seduced by "billboard agents" and will pay high commissions to have them sell their homes, not realizing that buyers couldn't care less who the listing agent is when they walk into average Joe's house. Buyers don't drive around a neighbourhood, slam on the breaks and say "I've got to buy that house 'cause it's listed by a popular agent I've seen on bus shelters!"

The cult of listing agent celebrity has obscured the truth about how properties actually get sold to buyers. The costliest real estate myth high commission agents continue to perpetuate is: "expensive print advertising of properties in newspapers and magazines is the secret to a quick and profitable sale, and that's why I have to charge you 5% or 6% commission" . Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is farther from the truth!

I enjoy educating sellers on why and how I can charge less commission and put thousands in their pockets without compromising on agent services, accepting low-ball Offers, or jeopardizing the sale of their most treasured possession! I'm all about serving people wholeheartedly and going the 2nd mile to ensure their best interests are realized. I've been serving homebuyers and sellers successfully for 15 years and my mission remains the same: - demonstrate to each client a depth of service and skill that makes them truly realize how deeply I care about their real estate needs and will do everything I can to make their home purchase or home sale a huge success!
